Album in landscape oriented folio (225 x 315 mm). 90 sheets [not numbered].
Analytical archive by G. H. Vasiliadis, director of the Greek Army
Geographical Service. It refers to the historical period of 1939 - 1949
with authentic data.
G. H. Vasiliadis served as a Lieutenant Colonel of the Corps of
Engineers at the Greek Army Geographical Service and as Inspector
General of Macedonian prefectures during the World War II, the German
occupation and the civil war of Greece.
All the historical data are attached to an album, improvised by G. H.
Vasiliadis and consisting of 90 sheets of black and brown thick paper
and protective rice-paper, with cord bookbinding. Attached on the sheets
are all the authentic records (maps, documents, posters, etc.). The
titles and subtitles are hand written with a paint-brush and white
tempera.
On the title page there is the handwritten dedication "a part of my
struggles towards the enlightenment on the rights of Greece..."

The bookbinding of the album is green cloth-bound with an embossed
representation. The covers are faded, with humidity stains. Minimal
traces of humidity on some sheets.

• «The map of Greek writer and revolutionary Rigas Feraios» minimized, 490 x 490 mm. Chromo-lithographed folding map.
• 2 chromo-lithographed maps, folding. (Part of the map of the Great
Greece, March 1944, and the whole map, drawn, edition of 1945.)
• 5 black sheets of the album are painted with aquarelles by G. H. Vasiliadis.
• 24 typed letters, orders, classified documents among others, from the correspondence with ministries and services.
• 13 pages containing 61 newspaper clippings and other printed matter.
• 6 printed booklets and flyers.
• 14 covers of propaganda leaflets.
• 10 mail envelopes with slogans for the encouragement of the Greeks.
• 40 military letter sheets (16 coloured and 24 monochrome).
• 2 chromo-lithographed folding posters with representations for the enlightenment of the army.
• 2 photographs from the book exhibition of the Greek Army General Staff at the Archaeological Society.
• 4 "flying" sheets, statements.
• 2 catalogues (on affichettes) of military books, newspapers and magazines.
