'Dedicated to her majesty the queen of Greece, Amalia. Present copy FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING. '11 lithographs (out of 12, missing number 7. 'The Observatory'.)' 1. Aspect of Piraeus port, 2. Aspect of Athens, 3. The Athens Palace, 4. Aspect of the Palace's garden..., 5. The Cathedral of Athens, 6. The University of Athens, 8. The church of st. Nikodemus, 9. The Amalia (orphanage), 10. The Arsakeio (school of young girls), 11. The Eye Hospital, 12. The property of her majesty the Queen, called Heptalophos.' In the beginning  there is a chart of the illustrations and a list of subscribers in Athens, Patras, Corfu, Constantinople, Bucharest, Vienna, Munich, London, Paris etc. Between the subscribers: head of Greek state Ioannis Kapodistrias, general Georgios Ypsilantis, phanariot N. Mavrokordatos, supreme court justice G. Pallis, poet and statesman A. Rangavis, banker and philanthropist a. Syngros, benefactor A. Arsakis, benefactor G. Sinas among others. Missing the 4 pages with text. Tears on borders, do not affect the lithographs, restored. Original blue printed cardboards, with many wears, water stains, torn spine, detached pages. Oxidizing.
